About Beautiful Feet
Our Vision
Beautiful Feet exists to spread the good news of God’s love by founding, training, and equipping pregnancy ministries worldwide.
Our Mission
While the vast majority of pro-life funds are raised to support efforts within the United States, Beautiful Feet aims to bridge the gap by bringing gospel-centered, pro-life ministries to all parts of the world.
Our primary focus is to see local churches across the globe use pregnancy ministry to advance the gospel and make disciples. Since 2013, we’ve founded more than 100 international pregnancy centers, all overseen by passionate, Christ-centered national leaders. Beautiful Feet also leads evangelistic missions trips, the majority of which are to our pregnancy centers. The goal of these trips is to assist and train the nationals who run the centers.

Our Founder and Director
Melissa Heiland is the founder and executive director of Beautiful Feet and a missionary with ABWE since 2023. She is also a speaker and author. Melissa has been serving in pro-life ministry since 1995, founded Beautiful Feet in 2009, and has established more than 90 pregnancy centers internationally, including centers in Africa, India, South and Central America, and the Caribbean.
Melissa is the author of several books, including devotionals for mothers, sexual abuse survivors, and short-term missions partners. She also has written a comprehensive educational curriculum called Growing Together that is designed to be used by volunteer counselors as they help clients throughout their pregnancies and beyond. Melissa and her husband Ken have adopted three children, fostered 40, and led hundreds of believers on missions trips throughout the world.
Beautiful Feet - A Ministry of ABWE
In 2023, Beautiful Feet officially became a ministry of ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism), paving the way to multiply the number of nationally led, gospel-centered pregnancy ministries on the mission field. ABWE exists to fulfill the Great Commission by multiplying leaders, churches, and missions movements among every people.
